New rules just dropped for overseas property sellers in Dubai, and they’re not messing around.

As of June 2025, if you’re selling a Dubai property and you’re not in the country, here’s what you need to know:

✅ You’ll need a UAE personal bank account to receive sale proceeds

✅ Your Emirates ID, title deed & bank account must match exactly

✅ Funds must go to the title deed owner - no more POA workarounds

In short: it’s getting harder to wing it from abroad.
