New rules just dropped for overseas property sellers in Dubai - and they’re a big deal.

📌 TL;DR:

— You must have a UAE bank account

— POAs are no longer enough for receiving funds

— Names on all documents must match exactly

— No more cheques made out to anyone except the title deed owner

Why?

Dubai is levelling up its anti-money laundering rules. Which means smoother, safer (and yes, more paperwork-heavy) transactions for everyone.
