I wish there was one drill, one move, or one secret that could instantly take you to the next level… but it doesn’t exist.

What does exist is an environment full of noise, jealousy, opinions, politics, people with agendas, and people who refuse to give credit unless they can take it themselves.

Here’s the lesson: that’s not just a basketball thing, that’s a life thing.

If you want to achieve something meaningful, you have to become incredibly resilient. You have to stop worrying about what other people think about your goals. You have to rise above the noise and keep moving forward, because the place you’re trying to get to is on the other side of all that nonsense.

You will fail.
You will fall.
You will want to quit, many times.

But you can’t let negative people win.

Fall in love with the work.
Fall in love with the boring repetition.
The sore bodies.
The tired muscles.
The setbacks and disappointments.

Because that’s where growth lives.
