A big congratulations to zzimri.g who is headed to oakhillacademy in Virginia. 🏀🇺🇸✈️

It is a testament to his incredible hard work , amazing attitude and his daily dedication, that he is about to start a life changing opportunity in the USA 🇺🇸

Zim will be attending one of the most prestigious academy programs in the country, a program which has seen NBA stars like Carmelo Anthony and Rajon Rondo grace its courts.

Zim asked me last season what he could do in order to get more minutes, and to become a better player. I told him to recognise the importance and value of being a player who works hard , who dives on every loose ball, sets the tone on D, and is willing to run through a wall if it helps the team win.

I told him to accept his role (something many kids can’t) and to be a star in that role.

I told him , “thats how you take that next step , thats what a coach in the USA will see in you and appreciate. Your work ethic , your willingness to be coached and desire to get better. It might not get the recognition here that you should , but trust me , if you do that , it will give you the opportunity to go to the USA”

He listened 🙏❤️

I cannot tell you how many times in a game when we needed a stop , the ball , or some energy , that Zim was able to dive on the ball , take a charge , or pick up full court.

All the early mornings, the PIP Camps , the multiple seasons Developing in our Hornets Club, have paid off. He has had a break out season this year , and his skills and confidence have gone through the roof.

Now he gets to go and follow his dreams , and spend every day in one of the best prep school programs in the USA. I can’t wait to see his development in a couple years with strength programs , high level coaching, and having to compete every day against players from the USA and all over the world.

A massive congratulations to uou and your family zzimri.g i am so proud of you buddy. You have been another shining example of everything that our programs are about.

Dream Big work hard 🫡❤️ #pathways #yesyoucan #hardworkpaysoff #basketball #usa #ignorethehaters #believeinyourself
