I used to give, even when it drained me.
Because deep down, I thought if I gave enough… I’d finally feel enough.

But here’s what healing taught me:
Not all love that feels intense is love that feels safe.
And not every connection deserves access to my heart.

Now, I no longer chase love that confuses me.
I welcome the kind that chooses me, respects me, and knows how to stay.

Because now I know—
The love I deserve is the love that also comes back home to me.
