Part 7 | One month ago, life felt like just surviving

My energy, my thoughts, the things I loved, my spark – all on hold. And I didn’t even realise it until I took a good look at myself. That’s when it clicked: I’d sacrificed everything I loved about myself and my life trying to give my all to a job

At the time, it felt necessary. But now I know this – no job should ask this much of you (unless they’re compensating you for it, ofcccc xx)

Leaving didn’t suddenly fix everything. I still have to pave this new chapter. But it gave me space to be present in my own life again – to create, to breathe, to feel like myself, and to actually fill my time with things worth taking my time

Stepping away from situations that you’ve overstayed your welcome in isn’t easy. But YOU KNOW deep down when it’s a step you need to take if you actually want things to get better. It’s the only way you can welcome in what’s waiting for you!!
