Most people assume that the best thing about being a physio YouTuber is the income, the subscribers, or the ability to reach and help more people.

And yes, those things are great — but they’re not what keeps me motivated.
What I actually love most about being a YouTuber is the learning process — the research, the reflection, and the time spent studying each topic in depth.

Before I ever hit record, I’m reviewing studies, refreshing my clinical knowledge, and figuring out how to communicate it clearly. That process forces me to think deeply, question assumptions, and simplify complex ideas — all while improving how I teach and explain.

Honestly, it’s one of the best forms of professional development I’ve found: active, applied, creative, and recorded.
Traditional CPD can be useful, but so much of it fades over time. When that same learning process becomes a video, it’s captured, shared, and revisited — by you and your audience.

Over time, your videos show what you know and how you think — helping others learn and even encouraging people to come and see you in person.

So yes, YouTube can absolutely help you grow your business, reach, and income…
…but the real reward? 
It’s how much you learn along the way.
