I made the decision to voluntarily withdraw from the Miss Intercontinental pageant after observing numerous issues that did not align with me. My withdrawal was based on firsthand experiences, repeated inconsistencies, and behavior that I found deeply troubling throughout my time with the organization.

During the pageant, I encountered misinformation, manipulation, and unethical conduct from staff members. I then reciprocated the same energy and they played victim. This included an incident in which a contestant used my professional camera and content without my consent or proper credit. As the rightful owner of that material, I reported the matter to META for copyright infringement.

I was also profoundly disturbed by the organization’s treatment of Miss Intercontinental Ghana, who was prevented from participating based on claims that she did not fit their “beauty standards.” This action was discriminatory and fundamentally opposed to the principles that international pageantry claims to represent.

Let me be absolutely clear: I was not disqualified. Any narrative suggesting otherwise is false, misleading, and defamatory to my character. I have documented email correspondence from the Miss Intercontinental organization acknowledging my voluntary withdrawal. While they stated they did not agree with my reasons, they clearly recognized that my exit was my own decision.

Following my withdrawal, I was left stranded in Egypt for approximately two weeks without support, assistance, or basic duty of care from the organization—solely because I chose to remove myself from an environment I no longer felt safe or respected in.

Now that the pageant has concluded, numerous individuals have come forward expressing similar complaints, concerns, and allegations of fraud regarding the organization—many of which directly validate the issues I raised from the beginning.

I stand by my decision to withdraw. I stand by my truth. And I will not allow false narratives to be used to discredit me.
