Looks like most of us now agree: Growing up Haitian or in other Caribbean/Black families, affection and validation isn't quite common — and I see now how much of that shapes us as adults. 

I was BLOWN away by how many of you related to my last video on this topic, and how many of you are trying to do better with your own kids. 🥹

Healing our inner child isn’t about going backwards — it’s about nurturing ourselves today, embracing BOTH sides of me: the grown, responsible me, AND the playful, curious little CiCi. ✨
