The only constant is change. And how we meet it defines everything.

After 24 years of building businesses—pivoting, reinventing, disrupting what’s expected—I thought I knew a thing or two about transformation. But nothing has stretched me quite like this.

For most of my career, I happily let others handle the tech. I told myself I “wasn’t that person”—the one who understood platforms, code, or the deep mechanics of digital tools. I stayed in my lane: strategy, creativity, vision. And yet…

Over the last 18 months, something shifted. I decided to stop outsourcing my curiosity. I wanted to understand this new era of AI not just conceptually—but practically, intimately. To get my hands in the clay and see what was possible when human intuition meets machine intelligence.

This week, I finished hosting my 14th retreat—but my first one entirely dedicated to AI.

And honestly?  I was nervous.

Could I really pull this off? Could I guide a room full of seasoned entrepreneurs, bestselling authors, powerhouse marketers, and creative pioneers into this world in a way that felt approachable, empowering, and genuinely transformative?

And something I wasn’t expecting—a deep sense of pride in how far I’ve come.

I’ve never been more certain:

You don’t have to be “techy.” You don’t have to be an early adopter. You just have to be willing to start, stay curious, and keep going.
