Snow has started to fall in some of our highest peaks. Finally, I was able to play in our playground last weekend. I've always underestimated the challenge of hiking with microspikes in compact snow while carrying my hiking essentials. Ahhhh, sunset and moonrise were so beautiful that night. Also, having the right hiking companion made the trip even more worthwhile. ❄️🏔️
