About 15 months ago, I felt lost in a body I no longer recognized. Perimenopause and menopause had hit me like a tidal wave — weight gain, exhaustion, mood swings, and a sense of defeat I couldn’t explain. After two and a half decades in the fitness industry, I felt like I was drowning in shame and confusion. How could I, of all people, not “fix” this?

But here’s what I’ve learned: menopause isn’t a failure. It’s a transition. A powerful, messy, hormonal rebirth that forced me to let go of who I thought I had to be, and start honouring who I really am now.

Today, 57 years young im proud to say I’m 47 lbs lighter — but this isn’t just about the weight loss. It’s about reclaiming my identity. It’s about self-compassion, healing, and showing up for myself in ways I never had to before.

To every woman in her 40s, 50s, and beyond who feels invisible, broken, or stuck: you’re not alone. You’re not done. You’re evolving.

This is just the beginning. 💪💫
