Running is great for the mind… but brutal on the gut. 🏃‍♀️💨

If you’ve ever finished a long run feeling crampy, bloated, or like you need the loo immediately, you’re not imagining it.

Research shows that up to 70% of endurance athletes experience gut symptoms during training or competition.

But you don’t need to be a pro to feel the effects.

Even everyday runners can end up with what’s called exercise-induced leaky gut; meaning your gut lining becomes weakened, letting things through that should stay out.

And it’s more common than you think.

Over time, this can lead to:
☠️ Food intolerances
☠️ Low-grade inflammation
☠️ Hormonal issues
☠️ Immune dysfunction
☠️ Chronic bloat, fatigue, even skin flare-ups

The good news is: recovery is possible. And there are smart, evidence-based ways to support the gut through endurance training — I shared a few in today’s reel 👆

I’m currently training for the marathondumedoc and running A LOT! So Im using a lot of these supplements to help support my gut.
