Didn’t expect this to be how I’m ending the year.

Dropped a plate on my foot
Two fractures
Now heading for surgery

The mad part?
I’ve dropped weights and plates on my feet more times than I can count in the gym… never once thought this would happen outside of it.

I’ve been asking God to slow me down
To realign me
To make things clearer

So maybe this is the pause I didn’t choose
But the one I needed

There’s a chance I’ll need pins
Which means no training for 4–6 weeks
And honestly… that’s going to be the hardest part for me

But I’m choosing trust over frustration
Perspective over panic
Alignment over resistance

Sometimes strength isn’t pushing
It’s surrendering and rebuilding smarter

I’ll come back stronger
Just differently
