🌑I make art that illustrates a point of focus for a new story written across the sky. A new story written across time and space. In the new story, you win. 

⚫️I developed a way of working called the DIVE. 

▪️DIVE stands for Deliver. Inspiration. Value. Expansion. 

🖤In a DIVE we make space for you to discover what your heart wants. From there, we take inspired action. 

◼️My word for the upcoming year is “Focus”. 
Everything I make is an instrument of focus to point us in the direction of well-being.

⚫️In this video, I, Karina Puente, demonstrate how to use the wand as an instrument of focus. Black Ribbon is hand-cut and hand-dyed to summon a new story. Inspired by literary leader ogecheverria to create black ribbon- black ribbon is now a symbol of ink in our pens and paint on canvas. 

◼️Black ribbon is the theme for arohofoundation Global Sisterhood Camps. I serve on the Board of Directors for AROHO — a women’s literary and arts foundation—where we enter our creative practice through the DIVE.
