Social media and body image

In this age & time social media is affecting people in all aspects of life of their lives. It became a crucial part of people lives, in fact many people priority is posting than actually living the moment!
We see the world from behind lences and screens!
We communicate with thumbs more the mouth!
Along with all these aspects, body image is one important aspect for me particularly being a personal trainer and dealing with clients who want to change their bodies. 

Most clients come to me with unrealistic goals & the first part of my job is explaining what is realistic & what's not. 

As a personal trainer our job is not to transform you to another person, it's to transform you to a better you. 
And everyone best is difference.
Whether it's the body, strength, fitness or overrall health improvements. 

Not all of us have the genes and bodies to look like fitness models, no matter how hard work you put. But all of us have the ability to improve ourselves regardless what you looking like now. 

Social media also full of unrealistic pictures who left up the standard for everyone & most are far away from reality. 
Whether by using filters, changing cameras angels, cosmetic surgeries, performance enhancements & plain simple easy photoshop. 
Far away from reality but unfortunately build the standard for many. 

I put a Pic and a video taken at the same time for same person. 
I respect danaemercer for having the courage to show this and definitely gives real motivation for many. (I don't knoe her personally) 

You are blessed and have been given a great body, mind, and the ability to improve in every aspect of your life. 
Love yourself, work hard and become a better you!!
