Scarlet Mantle 🥻

The scarlet color always reminds me the atmospheres and interiors encountered in Zanskar. 
Ladakh and Zanskar, also called 'little Tibet' are an extreme territory on the border of India and China. 
Rugged valleys and inaccessible plateaus, remote places that hide endless surprises. Climbing here takes your breath away, certainly for the rarefied air but are those unique views, the eternal peaks, the hospitality, the colorful clothes and the traditions that stop time and convey a subtle serenity.
A small kingdom that, like a ruby colored precious stone, hides nestled between impassable mountains.

Manto Scarlatto.

Il color scarlatto mi ricorda sempre le atmosfere e gli interni incontrati nello Zanskar. Ladakh e Zanskar, chiamati anche 'piccolo Tibet' sono un territorio estremo al confine di India e Cina. Valli aspre e altipiani impervi, luoghi remoti che nascondono infinite sorprese. Salire qui toglie il respiro, certamente per l'aria rarefatta ma sono quei panorami unici, le cime eterne, l'ospitalità, gli abiti colorati e le tradizioni che riescono a fermare il tempo e a trasmettere una sottile serenità.
Un piccolo regno che come una pietra preziosa color rubino, si nasconde incastonato tra montagne invalicabili.
