Your acne might be coming from …… a 16-foot organ you’re ignoring.

Your gut is HUGE.
About 16 feet long.
With a surface area the size of a small apartment.

And a big part of your body isn’t even “you.”
It’s microbes.
Up to 6 pounds of them.
Almost the weight of your brain.

Wild.

Your gut doesn’t just digest food.
It makes mood chemicals.
Serotonin. Dopamine. GABA.
That’s why it’s called the second brain.

And when the gut lining is calm?
You usually feel good.
When it’s inflamed or “leaky”?
Everything flares.
Including your skin.

Here’s where acne, redness, and rosacea come in.

People with acne often have low gut diversity.
Missing key bacteria that act like a repair crew.
They make compounds (like butyrate) that:

	1.	Strengthen the gut lining
	2.	Calm the immune system
	3.	Lower inflammation

When those bacteria drop…
Inflammation rises.
And skin loses its calm.

Same story with:
• H. pylori (histamine + inflammation)
• SIBO in rosacea
• C. acnes on skin

These bugs aren’t the enemy.
Imbalance is.

So if you’re stuck in acne, redness, or flare-ups…
Don’t just treat the surface.

If you really want change, you have to do this:
Fix the root cause.

Skin is usually the first place it shows up.
But it’s rarely where it starts.

I break this down much deeper in my book.
