In an age of over-saturation of information, conflicting narratives, and straight-up lies, the faculty of critical thinking is more important than ever. Unfortunately, it seems that humanity as a whole is on a downward trend from this historically-valued and coveted skill. Addictive technology, the prioritization of entertainment and short attention spans, among other things, are contributing to a more impressionable, conspiracy-prone, shallow-minded public—which happens to be convenient for more domineering, power-hungry governments; gobble up their propaganda, fight their wars unquestionably, toe the line, and show up to work. 

Be wary out there.
