When I wrote my book I wanted to give couples a really raw and honest account of things that they may experience while on their infertility journey. I also wanted to pass along all of the tips, tricks and information that I learned to hopefully make others experience easier and ease some of the unknown tensions. Some of things I learned myself the hard way, but others were from the amazing women in this community that want to help and see you succeed in having your bundle of joy 💗⁠

1.  Be your own advocate. Come prepared with questions when you visit your doctor, ask for clarifications if you don’t understand something, do your own research. ⁠

2. Ask for smaller needles for the POI shots, warm up the oil first and massage the area after. Your butt will thank you. ⁠
⁠
3. Seek out a support group (online or in person). Just being able to talk to others that have gone thru the same things is beyond helpful⁠
⁠
4. Remember to enjoy life with your partner without fertility being at the core of every convo. Enjoy sex (even when you're not ovulating!), make time for one another and if it seems like all you want to do is talk about infertility set a time limit and fully focus on one another. ⁠

5. You are strong! It’s easy to feel defeated, it’s easy to place blame on yourself remember this is NOT your fault. Infertility is a disease not an elective. ⁠
