## Caption

On May 20th 2023, the perfect spring conditions finally aligned. The hot mid-day conditions allowed us to sculpt a perfect feature, but I would need an unbelievably talented and precise skier. 

One of the biggest questions leading up to the first night of shooting was how twallisch would be able to hit the feature within the darkness required for the long exposures. To make things even more intimidating, come nightfall the snow would be rock solid ice. 

The first night, Tom hit the feature 44 times in near darkness, allowing us to capture some incredible images while honing in on specific body positioning and exposure/lighting details!
