A summer evening on the Yampa River, Colorado. It’s always surprising how quickly the seasons change, already nearing the darkest time of the year. I came across this image tonight of charlesbentonsmith and had to share. 

On a side note. Four years ago when I captured this, I didn’t realize a bear had wandered into the background of the shot until afterwards when I was editing. Special little surprise and somehow didn’t notice it in the moment.
