## Caption

Returned last week from an epic 9 day trip in the desert! There were some cold and enduring moments, and no end to the arduous travel (also easy going at the same time), but so epic and perfect in many ways. 75 miles of packrafting in 7 days with a heavy hike out (gotta pay to play). Grateful to share the experience with some great humans!

Here are a few of the scenes and highlights of the trip: 

1. Desert Bear almost crossing the river right in front of me on day 3. 

2. Ruins above the river on Day 1

3. Helicopter flying through Steven’s Arch at our mile 75  take out.

4. Mountain Lion dreams and then seeing tracks the next day 🐈‍⬛ 

5. Cold & wet days to start, followed by deeper canyons and warmer sunshine every day. 

6. Petroglyphs and pictographs 

7. Getting to use the technical gear I love and rely on it, alpacka_raft bigagnes_ shimodadesign lifewaterinternational garmin watershed_drybags goalzero 

8. Blossoming cottonwood trees, drifting and floating cotton in the air, surreal and magical in a way ✨

9. Dealing with a hole in my seat the last 20 miles of the trip…

10. Technical and tight paddling moves at times. Squeezing, digging, leaning, dodging, and flipping the boat a couple times as well! 😎

11. Last but not least, hanging with some amazing humans in my favorite spot ❤️✨🌙 hen_sandi ccaitlynnnn malcolmaconolly banannalissee
