Manipulators love pedestals.

Not because they’ve earned one, but because it protects them from accountability.

So here’s what they do.

They act selfish. They make reckless decisions. They violate boundaries. They bring chaos everywhere they go. They show you ugly character traits that should be corrected.

And the second you react?

They hit you with the classic cop out.

“You’re just jealous.”

No. Most people aren’t jealous of you.

We don’t want your life. We don’t want your energy. We don’t want your chaos. We don’t want your attention addiction. We don’t want your empty ego. We just find you exhausting.

But manipulators need that “jealous” narrative because it keeps them safe.

If everyone is jealous, then they’re not the problem. If everyone is jealous, then they don’t have to self reflect. If everyone is jealous, then they don’t have to grow. If everyone is jealous, then they can keep living in delusion and calling it confidence.

That’s the whole trick.

They pedestalize themselves so high that reality can’t reach them. And they gaslight themselves into believing criticism is envy.

The truth is simple.

Sometimes people aren’t jealous. They’re just done with your bullshit.
