As a man, you can lose the kingdom while building the castle.

A lot of men learn this the hard way. 

You get focused on the grind, the work, the mission, the money, the future. You think that providing, protecting, and building is enough. You think that if you secure the castle, the kingdom will naturally stay intact.

But relationships with women don’t run on logic. 

They run on emotion.

Women are loyal to their feelings in the relationship. 

That is not an insult, that is biology and human psychology. When a woman says she loves you, what she really means is she loves the way she feels when she is with you. 

When she says she wants a future, what she means is she wants a future as long as the feelings you create in her stay alive.

The moment that emotional connection fades, her commitment fades with it.

So while you are out building the castle, she may already be drifting from the kingdom.

If you get too lost in work, if your only value becomes provision, if you forget to maintain presence, affection, connection, leadership, and emotional attunement, the relationship will slowly erode. Not because she is disloyal, but because the thing she was loyal to no longer exists.

Men keep thinking love is a noun.
For women, love is a verb.
A continuous process. A living thing you have to water.

You can build an empire and still lose your home if you forget the emotional foundation that holds it together.

Keep building, but stay connected.
A castle means nothing if the queen no longer wants to live in it.
