This week, we’re standing on South Georgia, a remote island forged by tectonic forces over hundreds of millions of years. 🌍🔬

Here, the Scotia Plate collided with the South American and Antarctic Plates, uplifting fragments of ancient seabed, compressing sediments, and creating the rugged mountain ranges you now see behind me.
