I had the privilege of discussing the incredible journey of building the Global Esports Federation (GEF) with Paul J. Foster, a visionary leader in the esports and Olympic movements. We talked about the challenges of creating a thriving community in such a fast-moving space. Paul shared how GEF was built on the belief that "everyone could participate" and how a strong foundation is key.

At its core, GEF stands for "equality, fair play, diversity, inclusion, and innovation." These values are what drive the organisation forward.

We also touched on the power of collaboration—with global giants like the Olympic Movement and the United Nations coming together "to give people more opportunity to come together."

As we move forward into the future, it's clear that esports is not just a trend, but a force that will continue to shape our world. The vision for GEF and initiatives like the World Technology Games, launching in 2026, is to build lasting, meaningful platforms that will "last for generations."
