Research by OECD - OCDE, UNโ€™s Data Booklet, and many other international organisations suggest that there are about 48,000 recognised citiesโ€ฆ But did you know that there are over 4.3 million populated places worldwide? By 2050, ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ–% ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐โ€™๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž ๐ข๐ง ๐ฎ๐ซ๐›๐š๐ง ๐š๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฌ. Yet, defining what constitutes a city is a global challenge.
