This spectacular eco friendly fortress-like property boasts panoramic ocean views, a 100-foot swimming pool, 3 acres of gardens teeming with wildlife, 5 bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a media room, outdoor dining and lounge areas, 80 feet of private beach, and top notch staff on-site to make this one gorgeous getaway. 

The vision for Honeymoon House was borne on cs_hanley and his wife Roberta’s honeymoon. Inspired by the landscape and local history, the property takes care to work with and support the natural environment. Solar House, a hilltop bedroom suite, doubles as their energy supply and backup with 62 solar panels on the roof, powering a large part of the air conditioning HVAC system, and a silent 27 generator for backup to the grid.

Bordering Somalia, the culture is an exotic mingling of Arabic, Indian, and East African influences. There’s a sense you’ve stepped back in time and to a period before stress existed, which makes sense since the phrase Hakuna Matata is a local Swahili phrase meaning there is no problem.
