“Everything is blooming for a reason, including you” 🥹

Not sure if it’s because April is my birthday month but it’s the time I always seem to have a rebirth and it couldn’t be more relevant this year.

In January I said I’d start doing one day every couple of weeks for just me; to see no one, make no plans, answer no emails; just wake up and do whatever I fancy. Mainly to keep calm and focused during chaotic months of travel, plans and work (which I do love but they also send me doolally 🫠)

After a non stop (albeit amazing) March, this peaceful, soul-kissing day last week couldn’t have been more needed. It gave me mental calm I need for a big career month in May, something I’ve been working towards forever and need to be on my A game for. 

I woke up without an alarm, London looked like spring, I craved being by water so that’s where I went, I mooched aimlessly, stopped by Petersham nurseries, then picked up treats from a farmers market for a friend’s bbq the next day. It was heaven. Calm, peace + clarity cup; full. (for now…)
