I don’t always see the purpose in the pain… and honestly sometimes I never see it. I’m not actually one who believes everything happens for a reason, sometimes things just suck for no reason. Bad things happen to good people, without explanations or meaning. 

But I do know that some of the most miraculous things have come into my life after a period of time I felt hopeless, lost or like I can’t possibly go on. 

Sometimes that pain is preparing you for something you never saw coming. Sometimes it’s not a bigger better thing. Sometimes it’s a smaller quieter thing, something seemingly insignificant that means something only to you and helps you continue on. ❤️
