It’s not about the destination; it’s about who you become along the way.

In 1995, Howard Schultz, the man behind Starbucks, walked into a small Italian 🇮🇹 cafe in Milan. At the time, Starbucks was just a regional coffee bean roaster, but something in that moment changed the course of his life. As he watched Italians sip their espresso, engage in conversations, and connect over coffee, Schultz had a vision—he didn’t just want to sell coffee, he wanted to create a space for people to come together.

But the journey wasn’t easy. Schultz faced rejection, financial struggles, and doubts from investors who didn’t believe in his idea. In fact, he was told by many that Starbucks would never work as a “third place” for people to connect outside of home and work.

Yet, Schultz didn’t give up. He trusted the vision, embraced the setbacks, and kept pushing forward.

In 2000, Starbucks went public, and by 2010, it had over 16,000 stores worldwide. Today, Starbucks is more than just coffee; it’s a global community that transcends business.

Success doesn’t happen overnight, and it rarely follows a straight line. It’s shaped by persistence, the ability to see beyond the obvious, and having the courage to trust your vision—even when the entire world doubts you.
