Here’s what changed on Sep 22, 2025:

🎯 MAJOR WINS:

375+ products got cheaper with GST dropping from 12%/18% to just 5%

Health & Life Insurance - 18% GST completely REMOVED! My premium dropped on Sept 27th 📉

Electronics revolution: TVs, ACs, washing machines, laptops dropped from 28% to 18%

Vehicles: Small cars (<1200cc) & bikes (<350cc) dropped from 28% to 18%

Daily essentials: Hair oil, shampoo, toiletries from 18% to 5%

Food items: Butter, ghee, cheese from 12% to 5%

Agriculture equipment & hotel stays under ₹7,500 now at 5%

📋 What I found on ground:
✅ Supermarkets in Bangalore openly showing savings on bills
✅ Brands using stickers/stamps on old packaging (allowed till Mar 2026)
✅ Most electronics stores reflecting new prices
❌ Salons being sketchy - many not passing 12% GST benefit
❌ Some luxury items now at 40% (tobacco, premium cars, sugary drinks)

New GST structure simplified to:

0% - Essentials like milk, bread

5% - Daily use items

18% - Standard rate

40% - Luxury/sin goods
