I do my best to study history and learn from great artists as well.  With that said what I’ve learned is that history tends to repeat itself. Look at Martin Luther King Jr with all these great artists fighting for civil rights in the 60’s. We have James Baldwin, Marlon Brando, Harry Belafonte, Sammy Davis Jr, Sidney Poitier, Paul Newman, Diahann Carroll, James Garner, Charlton Heston, Burt Lancaster  and so many others not pictured. 
Know that what we are experiencing now in the US and worldwide is not new. 
There are stages of progress such as The Civil War, Emancipation Proclamation, The Civil Rights Act and now Police reform. Unfortunately changing hearts is the most difficult transformation and that takes time.
However, if we don’t want to repeat ourselves we need to VOTE! All Americans who are unhappy with what’s going on must vote. If you don’t like Trump, your Mayor, Governor, or Senator etc then vote them out. 
Nevertheless, so many Americans that aren’t celebrities who’s names we don’t know have fought and died for the freedom that we have now. If you’re not registered to vote then get yourself set up today 👇🏽there is no excuse.  Let’s not go back let’s push forward together as a Country and as a People!!
