👇🏼 Day 9 of our 14-Day New Zealand Road Trip 🇳🇿🥧🌿

This might be the most underrated day of our road trip because it includes everything we love… Great food, waterfalls, and good movies (kind of 😉).

Here’s how we suggest spending the day between Lake Tekapo and Arthur’s Pass:

🥧 Morning: Fairlie Bakehouse

Start your day with one of New Zealand’s most iconic pies. The steak & pepper from Fairlie Bakehouse is our favourite!

💦 Midday: Sharplin Falls Hike

A beautiful 2.5 km hike (return) that’s perfect for stretching your legs and maybe even going for a refreshing swim – as long as it’s safe to do so, and if you can handle the cold.

🪨 Afternoon: Kura Tāwhiti aka Castle Hill

Wander through this epic landscape of massive limestone rocks. It’s a sacred Māori site, and it’s also famous from both the Narnia and the LOTR movies!

🌄 Evening: Arthur’s Pass National Park

The last spot for the day is one of our favourite national parks in NZ!

Get ready for a peaceful sleep in the mountains so you’re refreshed for tomorrow’s fun activities…
