When we were 23 years old and living in Denmark, Dom was on a 1-year visa…

Once we got close to the 1-year mark, we tried to renew it, but we were unsuccessful. But instead of moving back to Canada, Dom decided to move to Prague to take a TEFL course 👨🏽‍🏫

It turns out that this was one of the best things that ever happened to us!

The TEFL course (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) allowed Dom to get an online job as an English teacher, and this way, we could both work remotely (I already had a remote job) and travel anywhere together.

Dom kept this job for years, and while he was teaching online, we visited over 10+ countries for months at a time, and it was some of the best years of our lives!
