In this mini-series, we’re sharing exactly how we’d spend 2 weeks in New Zealand if it were our first time visiting.

Today, we’re taking to the 8th Wonder of the World:
📍 Piopiotahi Milford Sound

Here’s how we suggest spending Day 3:
🌅 Wake up at 5:30 am and get ready to go (drive in your car or take a bus — more on this below)

🚗 Drive 2 hours to Te Anau

🥧 Have a pie at milesbetterpies
☕️ Enjoy a coffee at lakefrontcafe or grab a takeaway from sandflycafe (bring your own reusable mug 🫶🏼)

🛣️ Get back on the road, and stop at:
- Egligton Valley ⛰️
- Mirror Lakes 🪞
- Monkey Creek 🐒 (no monkeys there)
- Homer Tunnel 🦜

🌄 Drive the last stretch down to the foreshore where you’ll be met by the most incredible view of Mitre Peak and Milford Sound 🤯
