More of the #blackhistoryofsnowboarding and how travisrice used to cheat death daily.  The year was 2004 and no snowboarders had ever hit #chadgap Travis was the first. It was a steep run in, you had to hit speeds of 57 mph (we had a radar gun) and you faced irreparable bodily harm if you didn’t make it.  This shot shows the sheer height 50 ft or 4 stories high at least and well pure ridiculousness.  I think I shot 27 rolls of film that day and ran around til my legs fell off. History was made and the funny thing was for such a pivotal time in snowboarding, very few people knew a #Black guy shot the cover.
