A simulation of an encounter between #Spinosaurus and #Carcharodontosaurus. This is a scene that could have truly happened, as these two species lived alongside each other in similar regions and at the same time.

Animals are highly intelligent in their simplicity - they can calculate risks well and retreat when necessary. That is why most encounters between these two #theropods most likely ended as quickly as they began. A potential fight would have been too great a risk for both of them.

On land, Carcharodontosaurus may have had an advantage, however Spinosaurus could effectively intimidate it with its massive size.

The entire scene shows natural #animalbehavior, which is often the opposite of what popular movies show us about #dinosaurs, portraying them as monsters that attack everything that moves.
