A comparison between Hatzegopteryx and a modern Giraffe highlights the immense size of this pterosaur. 

It was one of the largest pterosaurs ever discovered and may have slightly exceeded the more famous Quetzalcoatlus in overall build. 

A single strike from its massive beak could have been enough to deter even the largest terrestrial predators of its time.
