I had the privilege of attending CABSAT 2025, the Middle East and Africa’s leading event for content, broadcast, media, and entertainment industry professionals. Alongside other global leaders, we engaged in insightful discussions on the future of AI in media and technology, and explored strategies to enhance broadcasting quality worldwide.

Key topics included AI-driven content personalization, the integration of traditional broadcasting with short-form digital platforms to engage younger audiences, and the balance between global reach and local relevance in content distribution.  We also examined the role of immersive technologies like AR and VR in storytelling, and the importance of sustainable practices in media production. 

Beyond the conference, I took time to experience the vibrant city of Dubai. From a desert safari to a dhow cruise and a city tour, it was a memorable blend of work and exploration.

It was disheartening not to encounter fellow Nigerians during my stay, possibly due to current travel restrictions imposed by the Dubai government. There's much we can learn from effective governance, and I remain hopeful that Nigeria will chart a path toward positive change.
