Are you guilty at letting a number on a scale set your mood for the day?

I weigh more now than I did in my 20’s and 30’s 
and this is just a friendly reminder that your weight does not define your self worth, life is tough enough without spending it being at war with ourselves. 

A bathroom scale shows a number,  a snapshot of your weight at a given moment on a given day. 

But the journey to a healthier life can’t be reduced to a single frame so easily.

When you first start “ dieting “ you maybe jumping for joy when you see the scales go down. 

But weight loss can stop and plateu for a number of reasons, one being because you are gaining muscle at the same time that you are losing fat.

Pictures are a great way to track this and will help prevent you from getting discouraged. 

You will not only have not only a visual aid to show you your real progress but it serves as a reminder to not get hung up on numbers all the time. 

So don’t exercise and eat healthy for a number on that scale but as a lifestyle choice.
