Do you give up before you’ve given it a chance?

♥️The start of a sustainable journey

Desperation is something I have certainly felt when trying to lose weight at certain stages of my life, especially after giving birth. Here is what I have learned about desperation...

✅ The decisions I make when feeling like this aren't usually good for me long term health & results

✅ These decisions don't usually make me feel happy or good about myself

✅ Desperation can actually make you do something that you think will give a "quick fix" but it usually does the opposite.

It makes you disheartened when you realise it hasn't worked then creates even more desperate circumstances! I bet you're reading this thinking...

"Oh my goodness, this describes exactly what I do and feel like."

Aren't you sick and tired of feeling like this?

It's amazing that you feel you want change, that's enough.

Desperation is not a good place to begin, you need to breathe, step back, count to 10 and accept to do this properly you must:

✅ Start rather than procrastinate
✅ Be comfortable that you will get there, so you should enjoy today rather than fret
✅ Avoid desperate, short term measures which will get you nowhere fast.

It is absolutely fine that you feel this way, it's actually really normal.

Most of the ladies who contact me for help are in exactly the same boat, don't panic. Just stop!

The important thing is to see you are feeling desperate for results and that is probably making this a very painful experience for you.

Small consistent steps are the best approach for long term results.
