I wasn’t prepared for this… 👀👇🏻

Starting any new campaign is always an exciting experience but starting a campaign on a 200 acre lake in the run up to winter with limited time on your hands is probably not what you would have in mind when it comes to targeting a new water. HOWEVER! This is exactly what I am embracing and with only 3 weeks at my disposal I am certainly up against it when it comes to catching a carp here. Unfortunately due to the nature of my work I don’t often get to dive into my own fishing and what really lights my fire so I’m mega excited to be getting a few sessions in whilst I have some time to myself. This image set was taken on my first 48hrs on the res and whilst I wasn’t expecting to catch anything on my first go at this huge expanse of water I also wasn’t expecting just how unbelievably beautiful the location was going to be. Despite the mega cold nights and relentless rain the scenes were insane and spending time here in this natural environment is what angling is all about for me. 

Im teaming up with surreycarpparticles on this one and hopefully if everything goes to plan over the next few weeks I may just see a carp or two along the way…but for now I hope you enjoy the vibes as much as I did!
