The results are surprising!…

At the end of last year, I embarked on one of my biggest challenges to date—an incredible alpine lake hidden away in the Italian mountains. Armed with a whole box of OMC terminal tackle, Steve and I geared up with the OMC arsenal, and I’m pleased to report that I was thoroughly impressed!

➡️ Cardboard packaging ☑️ 
➡️ Quality materials ☑️ 
➡️ LOCK HOOKS: Sharp, strong, and very reliable—really impressed with these ☑️ 
➡️ Hooklink material: Some of the best I’ve used ☑️ 
➡️ Beads: Not bulky, strong, and didn’t budge on the hooks ☑️ 
➡️ Sinkers: Great design, up there with the best ☑️ 
➡️ Putty: Up there with the best ☑️ 
➡️ Long leg slingers: A bit stiff for my personal taste 
➡️ Colne V hooks: Managed to bend one slightly at long range and on braid, so I stuck with the LOCK HOOKS which were bulletproof 
➡️ Swivels: Well made, strong, and reliable ☑️ 
➡️ Cassien Hooks: Absolute beasts, super strong gauge, but a bit on the smaller side for the size, so I didn’t get a chance to use them this time ☑️ 
➡️ Shrink tubing: Didn’t overly stand out but does what it says on the box ☑️ 
➡️ Lead clips: Okay, but I’d like to see an integrated swivel and move away from the peg-in-hole design 
➡️ Chopsticks bait chopping system: Very well made, great sturdy handle, but boilies would occasionally get stuck ☑️ 
➡️ Anti Tangle sleeves: Slim, supple, and fit well over swivels and clips ☑️ 

Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the terminal gear. One of the carp I hooked felt like a catfish! It absolutely beasted me out in the boat, and I was almost certain I would lose it. All of the tackle remained solid, and despite the immense pressure, nothing budged. I will 100% be using the blend hooklink, LOCK HOOKS, and beads in my own angling in the future, and I look forward to trying and testing more products in the range.
