Wild and free. Its likely this carp had never seen a hook before. Spending its days in a wild and remote river system in  Croatia. 
Wild carp behave differently in their natural environment compared to commercially pressured venues. They are very adapted to their wild surroundings and will almost never pass up the chance of a free meal making them easier to catch if you can locate them.
Strong tackle, big hooks and simple tactics are the staple if you want to put them on the bank 🎣🦾 screaming takes and epic fights make even the small ones feel like monsters of the deep. Every now and again a good one comes along and all the effort, miles, bait, expense 🤑 all comes good.
