It’s been a strange few years where the competitive fire just wasn’t there. I didn’t even feel like training at times. But having good people around—those who lift you up, cheer you on, and occasionally give you that much-needed kick in the ass—is one of life’s greatest gifts.

This weekend, I stepped into my first competition in a long time—and at one of the biggest venues. It felt amazing to reignite that fire and push beyond what I thought I was capable of.
