Ol school jams in the kitchen. Hands in soil. Planting  my String of hearts while untangling the Madonna/Whore narrative that tried to split me in two.

For too long I was planted in stories that weren’t mine—too holy to be desired, too human to be respected. Boxed in. Split. Never just allowed to be.

But s#tring of hearts grows best when it has something to trail toward.

Just like me.

Tonight I’m rooting myself in truth:
➤ I am both soft AND strong.
➤ Sensual AND sacred.
➤ Whole. Not split.

Old school in my ears. New roots in my hands.
