Experimenting always excites me.
I’ve found that understanding the flow of muscles and bones allows for easier and more dynamic composition. Once that foundation is in place, linework becomes freer and more expressive. Even classic structures, when approached this way, can be given a fresh mood.

Most of what we call ‘art’ is rooted in the classics—so I always recommend looking at a wide range of genres. Every style has its own charm. Observe them carefully, take notes, and apply what resonates with you. It takes time, but eventually, this will make your design process much more intuitive and effective.

I’m not always sure how others—followers or fellow artists—will react to my experiments. But these are the strategies I rely on in all my work.

At the core of my tattoo design process is this: I focus on what I personally find visually satisfying. Every artist has a different perspective, but knowing where your design instincts come from is essential.

My own approach values balance—something that looks good from a distance, but also reveals subtle details and craftsmanship up close. I hope that intention comes through, now or in the future.
