Privileged to have attended the UNESCO General Conference at their headquarters in Paris, and participate in the UNESCO Youth Forum.

During this significant gathering, I engaged in substantive discussions with UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay, delving into critical global matters such as climate change, gender equality, and the imperative of youth involvement in shaping global decisions.

Moreover, I had the honor of meeting Ms. Anna Plassat Muríňová, the Slovak Ambassador to UNESCO, and contributed to the activities of the Slovak delegation during the announcement of the UNESCO Executive Board member appointments—congratulations to the newly elected representatives.

The forum's primary objective was to develop recommendations for UNESCO member countries, particularly focusing on addressing the multifaceted challenges posed by climate change. Our goal was to articulate the perspectives and recommendations of the younger generation, emphasizing strategies for effective climate adaptation and mitigating its societal impact.

Additionally, we engaged in a comprehensive hour-long discussion with youth ministers from diverse nations, using the opportunity to inquire about their countries' approaches to climate change and the integration of youth perspectives in policy formulation.
